ALL-PORCELAIN DENTAL CROWNS

Out of all the various materials used to make dental crowns, all-porcelain crowns have the most natural look. Advanced ceramic techniques provide just as much strength as metal or PFM crowns. They are truly metal-free. No longer do patients run the risk of metal showing at the gum line or experiencing a metal allergic reaction.

What are dental crowns? A dental crown, also known as a “cap,” is used to cover an entire tooth to fix its overall shape, size, and appearance.

Why would you need a dental crown? To protect a weak tooth that’s decaying or cracking; to restore an already cracked tooth; to hold a dental bridge in place or cover a dental implant; to fix the color of a discolored tooth; or simply to make cosmetic corrections.

How long will it last? With good care, your crown can last a very long time. When you have your dental crowns done with us, we will give you proper care-taking tips to make sure you’re good to go. 50 to 80 percent of crowns will last 15 to 20 years.
